Cancellation Policy

If you need to withdraw from a course or program at St. Joseph University, please carefully review the following policies and procedures:

Refund Policy

  • Full Refund:
    A full refund of tuition and fees will be granted if cancellation occurs prior to the first day of classes.

  • Partial Refund:
    If cancellation takes place after the first day of classes but before the end of the add/drop period, you may be eligible for a partial refund. The exact amount will depend on the circumstances surrounding your withdrawal.

  • No Refund:
    No tuition or fees will be refunded for cancellations made after the add/drop period has ended.

Cancellation Procedure

To cancel your enrollment, you must:

  1. Complete and submit the online Cancellation Form, available on the university’s website.

  2. Notify both your instructor and academic advisor of your decision to withdraw.

Exceptions

In certain cases, exceptions to the refund policy may be granted due to extenuating circumstances, such as a medical emergency or family crisis. If you believe your situation qualifies, please contact the Office of the Registrar as early as possible.
